    Start up problems

Start up problems just started after a week of letting this thinkg sit. It takes a bit for it to turn over a few times and then it is a little rough getting going. Once going its fine. I did check the RAF and its on, Checked the MAF and VE both of those are good. What should I look at next?

Is it just the initial start up?

If so, I had to add some start up airflow to mine to get it to turn over and fire up quicker.

I will try the camshaft revs down to 25 instead of 50 and see if that makes a difference. As for closed loop, I had it like that and was doing it then as well. Thats why I went back to check my maf, raf, and ve. they are still all close as you can see in the log.

I just tried dropping the timing a little and the 25 cam shaft revs and still up and downwith the idle. not a good start.

Started a little quicker (just added 2 across the board). It didn't stall but was still fumbeling a little. Going to bump it up a little more to see if that helps. Wondering if I should by my Camshaft revs back to 50 off drop that lower?

Honestly, I would set your camshaft revs back to stock and see if your startup airflow fixes it. I ended up having to add more than 2 g/sec so, smack it hard one time and see what happens.

I tell ya... this damm thing. I fix one thing and something else gets jacked up. I had it to the 100 camshaft revs and 4 across the board for the start up airflow. It starts good when warm and cold (when I have the ECT enable at 285, stft enabled, and high rpm disable set to 0). When i put the ECT back to stock and the rpm disable to 4000 then it sucks and If I start it when cold and try to put it in gear it dies. If its warmed up it does not die shifing into gear or in to park.

4 across the board and 100 revs?? That seems like a lot of airflow and way to much delay. What is stock for your car?

The write up by rinkrat shows upping that by that much.

His units are obviously different than what your tune is using. You need to make sure the units are the same and go from there.
