    442 LS7 Nitrous

    i have tuned today ,
    LS7 with 442
    Nitrous 300 wet shot



    my problem is the AFR ,,
    everytime i hock the clamp on the exhuast for the LM2 wideband in the exhuast i break it ,, and i lose the wide band sensor

    i need a wideband guys ,, can work good with HP tuner ,, external ,, which is i can remove it from car to car when i tune
    ,,,,,
    some of the problems that i have is even on the dyno ,, in high RPM it start reading LEAN 20 ,., its the wide band ,, because the internal wideband for the car Reads good and maintaining the AFR

    the question is i had a KR .02 on the with the nitrous shot ,, is that okkay !
    i am asking because its the 1st time for me tuning car with wet shot

    the otherthing is
    where can i get a good wideband i can take it with me from a car to car

    third question ,, is my Driving tune is fine ?
    i hope someone can give me some comment

    please guys ,, hook me with a for Good wideband Link ,,
    i am really pissed off ,,

    we hitted the nitrous ,, but in the TRQ delivered power reached MAX 600 !
    the AFR went to 15 which is so lean !
    ...
    i guess i need comments on the LOG ,,


    because the car was lean on the nitrous ,, and tomorrow we will change the Fuel jets
    another question
    Can a STOCK Zo6 fuel system ,, ALL stock ,,
    handle 442 engine 11.5 compression
    300 wet shot DIRECT PORT ?

    Tuned correctly a 442 should love the nos.

    Tuned incorrectly it wont last 300 ft.



    Need more details on the nos. Dedicated fuel system? High or low pressure? What nitrous jet what fuel jet?

    the fuel system is STOCK
    why is it stock ,, because the guy came to me to tune it ,, and the car was like that
    nitrous outlet nos jets 62 and fuel jets 38

    yesterday ,, we hitted nitrous rolling 170 Kilo\h on 4rth gear ,, the car was Spinning ,, and the AFR was 15 to LEAN ,,, we stopped the run

    today now he called ,, he said the fuel battery WIRE ,, was lose and it didnt work yesterday ,, so he fixed it ,,
    he came to me we gave it a run the AFR went to 10.9 thats because the nitrous bottle was almost empty ! funny isnt it !

    anyway ,, we had a run as an N\A the car was fine and smoth ,, AFR exactly like what i have commanded ,, 12.5 all the way
    today i logged the run as an N\A ,, i saw the engine Deleivered Trq was almots 600
    does that mean my Trq is good ? or i can get it better ?
    i hope you give me some info about that ,, because its the 1st time for me tuning a Car with DIRECT PORT nitrous
    have a look at the log



    nitrous run ,, was to RICH because i think the nitrous bottle was empty ,,

    I think you must run a dedicated fuel system for 300 shots

    And please don't run the car at 15:1 AFR !!! Way too lean and could result in broken piston soon at 300 hp nitrous.

    As for wideband throw the crap LM1 or LM2 out !!!
    Buy NGK AFX. It should be you're best friends and easy hp tuner friendly !!!

    300 Hp nitrous should run 11.2 AFR with 93 octane pump gas with absolutly no knock retard, right amount of timing retard, and 8 or 9 degre spark plug heat range.

    thanks for the links ,, they really helped me and answered my question
    i am not running it 15 AFR ,, we tried the car in the street on 1000 RPM
    maybe less then 1000 rpm , just to see the AFR before we do anything

    we have done that because of 1 reson ,
    the car came to me tuned ! from a tuner who have forced the car to stay in O/L

    so i restart tuning all the way ,, by flashing it to a stock ,, then re-tuned it again
    when the guy came to me he said for me that his AFR on dyno was 13.2 on WET shot 300 direct port

    after finishing all the car runned it 12.5 all the away on the street N/A

    he was trying to convince me that he doesnt need any extra fuel system

    then he told me 1 run from 4000 to 5000 lets see the AFR
    and yeah
    impossible to do it !
    but because i am a new tuner
    i thought ! how did his old tuner ! had AFR 13.2 !!!! on a WET shoot ! 300

    thats what made me confused !


    about the AFX ,, it look nice and nothing is wrong with it ,,
    yeah you are right ! the innovate is giving me a headace ! specially with cars passing 600 RWHP ,,, it start reading LEAN
    i dont know why ! but now if i buy the AFX

    i am a tuner and i am jumping from a car to other !
    and because i havent got a dyno ,,
    so i tune the car all the way in the street
    after that i hire a dyno and run it to show the horse power ,,
    now the question is ! any good Clamps to hold the wideband sensor in the exhaust ,, because i cant everytime ask the customer to make a hole in the exhust system to fit the wide band ,,,

    this is Really what i need ,,,

    why do i need it? ,, because its help me alot to make my tune perfect

    What. You just pull a front O2 and screw the WB into that.
    Gray Ghost- The abomination. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB. 98mm turbo, nitrous, 428LSX, Rossler 80E with a brake. Finally finished. 23 psi, no numbers, Slow as hell.

    PBM G8- Aluminum 364, twin Precision 67/66 turbos, 6L90 trans swap, CTS-V/Vaporworx fuel system, slowly making progress.

    no ,,, i am putting the WB in the exhust exactly like the dyno ,, in the innovate clamps

    and every run we run it in the street ,, i lose the clamp in the street :/

    If you loose the clamp , man that´s expensive!

    Or did your wideband cable hold it till you stops?


    The only way for my is to weld a WB O2 bung on EVERY car.
