    ls7 with katech torquer 110 cam

    Hi, first post, just picked up HP tuners pro and I've been reading and viewing some videos etc online to get up to speed... wow, a lot to learn!

    Does anyone have a baseline tune for a Katech torquer 110 cam in an otherwise stock LS7? (well, stock except cam and headers) I'm doing a transplant into a 68 camaro and my current plan is to use the GMPP wiring harness and computer. thanks- Dan

    haven't even gotten it running yet, a few weeks to go... but from what I understand there will be some issues to tune out with the cam change using the stock ls7's tune... there are some mail order tunes available but I figure someone else might have been down this road already.

    specs of cam would help, i would start by getting it to idle in gear and then work on the VE and MAF tables and then add spark advance till you get knock retard then remove a couple degrees..

    per Katech's site-- 220 / 244 @ .050, .615 / .648 lift, 110 LSA +004

    Stock is 211/230 @.050 with .591/.591 lift, not sure on LSA, some sites say 118, others 120 or 121

    The combo is suppose to be pretty streetable and still around 600hp at the crank with headers and no cats.

    I've tuned several of those cams. I've got several high quality tunes for them. They are not free.
