    ZR1 - Stock Injectors Limit

I have to tune a modded C6 ZR1 (Harmonic Balancer, Pulley, Headers).
My customer living 500 miles away.

The question is : Are the stock injectors still in the 80% duty cycle with these mods ?
Ligenfelter told my customer : "It depends of the tuner".

    Any experience ?

seen one with duty cycle 110% ... however tuner was able to command 10.5 AFR ..fuel press was 88 psi @ WOT ..

DC :rpm * IPW / 1200....... personlly i think its the IPW that is not accurate on the E67..

please correct me if i was wrong ...

BTW ... how RWHP did you get on that beast ..

Stock they run 88psi in the rail at WOT and the injector flows somewhere around 61 lb/r at that point (assuming roughly ten psi boost).

    in your STOCK motor
i am talking about the fuel system ,,
if your tuner can get the AFR 11.8 as a FORCED induction ,, i think that will be fine

no one will be able to answer this answer now ,, except you or someone who have tuned one ,, myself havent tuned one yet

good luck ,, and i would like to keep updated
tell us how much boost did you get ,, and i hope you log your dyno scan ,, cheers

This one is modded, I ve never seen it in front of me.
Can t wait to tune it. But I m affraid the stock injectors will not be enough.
My customer doesn t want to but injectors yet.
    I have to be carefull.

So, funny I came across this post. I'm currently sitting in a 2010 Zr1 on the dyno with the same current mods - ATI, Pulley 2.6, LPE hp snout, Headers, and exhaust..

First off, my understanding is LPE has some math wrong. They used a Camaro LS9 configuration to belt length on there website chart. The power steering pulley is smaller on the Camaro so the belt chart is wrong. On the first pull I'm seeing 235kpa plus @ 5000 RPM and injector duty @ 100 percent @ 3400 RPM
AFR is still rich @ 10.5-1 and power is 570 @ 5000 RPM and tq is 615 @ 4500 rpm measured at the wheels on a dynojet. I'll let you know how it goes but this might be a little unsafe

i think its like any other car ..however under torque management -- supercharge -- there are few parameter needed to adjusted to accommodate the increase of boost ...

    Niiice!
Where have you set the rev limitor?
    Can you post the dynosheet?
I m using a superflow dyno, so the number will be lower than the dynojet

Did you find the limit? I did 575whp on 9-10lbs at 58PSI and ZR-1 injectors were ok, thats through a 6L80. I'm raising it up to 13lbs and raising fuel pressure to 65lbs now through a TH400. We'll see... ZR-1 stock tune is a bit off from what the Lingenfelter cal table lists.
