    6.0 maggie tune

could someone please check out this tune i have been working on for my 2006 lq9 with a 112 maggie. I just added a 90mm j-tube and 60lb injectors from five-0-motorsports. this was all done on sunday and since then I have been
trying to get the trims in line. Im concerned about how much fuel i had to add in the lower cells of the ve & maf. Tell me if im way off course.Engine is all stock except for blower, headers.

Looks close man. You are a little rich between 20% and 40% TPS and a little lean down low. The results are looking pretty good though to me. The little flat spot you have at 7K hz in your MAF table. I would manually smooth that out to the upper region.

Thanks for your responce, i will smooth out that area you pointed out. What had me concerned was how much i had to add down low and like you said its still lean.

I looked it over and I just installed my alkycontrol. It is not in use. I have a 03 Z with 42lbs and a 3" Pully making 10lbs of boost. It is working good in all ranges and the miilage is beyond believe. Im using and AFX NGX wideband. How do I post my tune. I got yours and compared it. I have not added the timing in withthe alkycontrol yet. so this is just the charger adn a tune.. So do I have to email you my tune or im you my tune? I would like your input on it too.

why does my ve table seem to be large (number wise) plus a loged it tonight with maf disabled and it seems the ve is still lean in the lower rpm areas. should i be looking for a vacume leak? this is a stock engine with a 112 maggie and a 90mm throttle body, does the numbers in my ve seem normal for a setup like this?

i havent got experience for numbers ,, but the scanner can tell you everything if you are way high or low
assuming you havent got any Vac leak ,,, if the car is lean then get it extra fuel ,, if all of your sensor are good then you have to trust them ,,

VE is abnormally high in the lower regions. If it's not cammed, it could be right. Hard to say.

The tune you posted isn't in SD, so if you're trying to tune the VE based on that tune, you're not.

The tune posted was with everything turned back on. this problem occured after i installed my 90mm j-tube and throttlebody. I also installed 60lb injectors and hope the IFR table is correct, i followed the precedure in tunning school book. I feel my problem is injector related but i dont know this for sure. thanks for all the help and advice

Also this my by a dumb question but on the drive to work i noticed if i sit in gear with the brake on and move the throttle a can populate cell with very negative long terms, but do the same thing in park and the same negative long terms will start to lean up. So my question which should i belive is correct, or do i have something screwed up?

what i beleive ,, by PArking ,, and putting the gear in 1 and the safety brake ON
start increasing the RPM little ,,, and the car in the same place ,, that is a good way to do the Idle airflow

Iguess what i meant was i can drive to work loging maf vs LTFT , once i have my cells populated i can hold the brake and increase tps and watch the cells i hit go really negative LTFT's. Then put truck in park rev engine up slowly hitting same cells and watch the LTFT's lean back down. Is this normal? i dont know if im really rich or lean?
I feel my ve table is abnormaly high in the low regions. only thing changed was throttlebody and injectors

to be honest with you ,, i havent got experience to answer this question ,,
but if you are going to to tune it ,,, disable the the DFCO
so the numbers will be much clear ,, and the LTFT will be more stable
otherwise every time you release the throttle ,, you will find change in the cells that you hit

What injectors do you have? Siemens 60's? What is the flow rating at 58psi?

I got them from five-o-motorsports they are the plug &play which from what read are very hard to setup for a beginer tuner like myself. Im thinking about throwing in my 42lb maggie injectors in for now to see if i can get things in line.

Don't swap them just yet. Someone here may be willing to share injector data that has the tables for those. Have you searched the Repository for data yet?

I got some tables that will do that from the tuning school and EFI Live.Let me know what you have like the guy said and the PSI. I have the 42 and I have not come close to needing bigger injectors yet. But Iam not cammed up however I was looking into the 90 mm TBI and new nose for mine. I will be more than happy to help with my knowledge. There are alot of guys on here that are way sharper than I am though. I want to see how the numbers compare on your truck vs the procharger one I showed you to see how they line up.
