    Scanner Disconnects

So today I was trying to log my car (02 Camaro SS) and the scanner will log and be fine at idle, but as soon as you take off it disconnects and wont connect again without closing the program and un plug the OBD plug. What I don't understand is right after that it logs my truck just fine. Anyone else have an issue? Help?

Wiring issue of some sort maybe?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I've never had a problem when other people would log it,it also popped up a window and said something about a fireware update?

Not sure, if you get the error/update message again shoot an email with a screenshot of the window to support at hptuners.com

fireware? as in firewall/antivirus? (have you disabled it?)

or firewire? as in connection to PC (maybe bad cable/loose connection.)

Just tossing out ideas here. In another thread, someone had a similar issue and it was the OBD II plug had a loose fit. Next time you want to try this, instead of taking off and driving the car, wiggle the OBD II plug, then the plug to your PC, etc. At least that will rule out bad connections. G/L
