Hey yall!! i got a 2003 topkick and im trying to convert it from propane to gas. i bought new gas injectos and rail. ran new lines pump ect. truck will bearly run! i have a 8.1 gas computer that we put on to see what happens and the truck wont do anything now. wont even crank over, none of the gauges work or anything. also ive tried downloading the tune of the original computer and it gets 50% done then times out.. please any help would be awesome thanks alot!
You will need to provide more information and post the tunes.
all the inco i can get ya would be makr and model. im running 2.23 beta software. when i try to read vcm it quits half way through. could it be locked from the company that converted it? if so is there away around it? and i have a 2005 pcm that we swaped into it just to c.. and it wont even crank over with my computer. what kinda info are yall needing? error codes? thanks for any help
Email support with the problem to see if there is a work around if any.
You pulled the OE PCM and then put a PCM in from a GMT-800 and now the OE PCM will do nothing correct?
i pulled the oe pcm, and replaced it with my 2005 2500 hd pickups pcm. and it did nothin with that one. so i put the oe back in and it runs but runs like crap. smells fueled alot. but i still cant downlad the tune off the oe computer with my hptuners

Can you pull any info out of the PCM? Like the Calibration Segment ID's?
I can help you out with a tune, but I don't think you can load it with HPT

This file is a 2003 2500HD 4X4 8.1L. DO NOT LOAD IT!
Use this file to compare. Make sure the injector settings are correct for the injectors you have. Get the part number and check them.

Hi guys I also have a 2003 GMC 6500 top kick original schwans propane truck. I bought the fuel injection gas conversion kit. Hooked evertthing up and it wont work. I can here the fuel pump turn on. But it wont run? Seriously confused. Do you think its possible they sent me the wrong harness or something? any ideas?
