    2007 High Idle Please help

    Ok

So not to much equipment, tune just a bit... but has been running very good for serveral of months.. until this month...

Starts up, runs good, but when i pop into netural the car will idle high until i hit a dead spot.

High I mean by 2200 then goes to 1500 then stops at the good range.. 750..

Cleaned the throttle body, clean the air filters, cleaned the MAF, carefully, but still no job..

please advise on what else to do.

You have provided no information about the car and no data log or tune file. How do you expect anyone to help you?

What type of information are you looking for.. if your looking for the TPS or anything else I would like to know what needs to be logged in, due to the fact that the current log has nothing to show anything wrong,,, and I have not done any changes to the software or the tune... also I think it's hardware not software....

Which I'm trying to get the TPS to be logged in,, but I'm using beta version of the HP tuners becuase of the application key....

    Please advise

You have yet to even mention what kind of car this is and what the mods are. I shouldn't have to rely on file names to make assumptions.

    OP,

You have a nasty vacuum leak somewhere. the maf tune has covered it up.

I see the tps stick at 19%, then drop to 14. the car is pulling all the timing it can to get the idle down, then after a while commands the etc to take over and shut even more.

Here is a link to a good explanation of the PCV system. Look at the vacuum line diagrams starting on page 5. Don't try to outsmart the PCV system. Hook it up just as this says.

This may be a wild guess, but depending of the type of throttle body cleaner you used, you may have internally damaged the electrical part of the TB. I used gum out carb cleaner on my 07 avalanche tb and had to replace it due to hunting idle even with no codes. Will never use that stuff again on a TB!
