    flashing 2010 file to older PCM

    Has anybody have any luck taking a C6 2010 file and flashing it to an older 2005-2009 vette?

    Same processor so not sure why we could do this? Have you tried? Be an easy was to avoid the limit on the injectors, it would make life so much easier with the A6 transmissions.

    I wouldn't say that that quick. With a six speed it is a no brainer but when dealing with an A6 things get just a little more complicated then cutting the MAF/Stoich/VE table in half. I am not saying it couldn't be done but would make life with the A6 much easier.

    It has nothing directly to do with the type of processor.

    then leave the maf/ve alone and increase the stoich table, that way your torque predictions are left alone, and therefore your trans settings are left alone...only down fall your fuel economy measurement on the dash will inaccurately high reading...
