    Using Hptuners cable compatible with other software?

    I have been looking at a software called Vag-com for VW's. The software allows for similar abilities to the GM Tech2 tool only with VW's. They offer the ability to use a 3rd party cable and pay a reduced price on their software. Will using my Hptuners cable create issues with my warranty or support? Also anyone have experience using these cables with other software? Thanks!

    I have vagcom at the shop just not sure if the MVPI interface changes anything. My vagcom cable is definitely more like and elm cable.
