    8.1 tach ouput for 1996 cluster

    im new at this stuff so can anyone help with this setting?

    i have a 1996 gmc sierra and i installed a 2005 8.1l. but im not getting a tach signal. is it a setting on the ecm or do i need to buy a adapter?
