    Question pcm 2003 vs 2002 question

    ok need some information , due to some probleme whit my 2002 pcm on my 2002 duramax lb7 w allison .. the pcm dont work anymore .. have pcm back-up 2003 same motor . is intall in my 2002 truck for run the motor , ..
    now need to change the V.I.N number on , but y dont let me to doo .. there is posible to change this

    Before changing the VIN# or also before you perform a Write Entire you will have to reference to make sure either the operating system or VIN# you are trying to write are compatable with one another. Only certain VIN numbers will work with certain O.S.'s. Also keep in mind that only certain O.S.'s can be used on certain computers as well, so make sure that computer is identical or at least compatable.
