Yeah I have e 85 around here. I sqw a couple write ups on tuning to use it I think its a pretty good idea. And if I could hit my goal with a xp or stg1 maybe my goals aren't large enough I wouldn't mind seeing low 11 high ten but I figured that is insane for my needs.

Might as well quit right now and go with a turbo. Low 11's is pretty impossible on a gen v without some serious weight reduction.

seen mid 11's on gen 3 no weight reduction ( xpz/well ported heads/IC'ed 4 dr gs), also seen cracking 11's with under $1,000 total including car & mods , etc on spray.... its all about setting a goal and achieving it

turbo's are great but are a big financial commitment all at once instead of buying stuff for an sc build an item at a time. I have bought 2 11 sec ls1 f bodies for 3 grand and change each in the last couple months cant see buying a turbo setup for that much for a w body dont get me wrong I love w bodies and own close to a dozen of them but you wont catch me dropping that type of coin into one - you will never see it back....
    PB's 1/4 mi 12.21 117.75 trap ,1/8 mi. 7.779 93.99trap , 1.949 short time (FWD W body)

Well I'm just saying I'm not shooting for any real goal except for tons of fun to drive and it being a sleeper. If I go threw with what I want to do in the long run and swap the engine into a Buick reattaand pair down the engine harness to run stand alone on the computer. And ur exactly right about coin on the turbo I don't wanna spend it with everything I have in my car right now I'm under 1000. I keep finding good used parts for them on the net for cheap so I keep buying things

once you break into the 11s, the car won't have traction anyways.

PM me and I can email you a How to made just for our 3.8

Yes a Wideband is the best for tuning with WOT but, for the everyday drive, it's not totally necessary.
would you care to email me the tuning guide for the 3.8

    Greetings,

I am interested in any tuning advice

I have 3800 Gen 3 blower, 4spd, my base tune is 99 GTP. I have a full stack liquid Intercooler, 340 LPH fuel pump, Deka 60?s N*, LQ4, 1.9 rockers, LS valve springs.
Premium here is called Super which is RON 98.

I have wide band. Today I tweaked Fuel Flow vs Manifold Vacuum , my WB AFR idling shows as high as 20-21, but fluctuates from as low as, 16s typically it?s 18/19.

I live in UAE a little over an hour from Dubai.
