    Please Help!

After driving the car agressivly, the torque converter will not lock up at all, and the transmission will feel like its slipping a lot. At first I thought that the transmission was going, but I'm sure that its not something mechanical, because I can fix the problem by turning the car off, and turning it back on while rolling down the freeway. I have tried messing with the torque converter tables, but they have no effect once the transmission goes into whater mode this is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a 1998 S-10 pickup that was doing the exact same thing. The dealer said I needed a new Transmision. Doubt that is what you wanted to hear. I traded it in so I never knew what it really was. Good luck.

Ya, I'm gonna say its actual transmission slip as well.

I've had a 4L60E act the same way.... it went south very quickly.

LOL after almost 4 months of living with this problem, I finally figured out it was the computer seeing misfires, and unlcoking the TC. Although, I think my transmission suffered pretty badly from all the exra heat, now its shifts are clunky, and it occasioanly slips in 3rd.

Any body know a place to get a good tranny?
