    G8 Communcation Issue?

    Help somebody.

I have a G8 here we did a DoD delete and some various other bolt ons.

My problem is this, I can't write to theVCM. It will not take a tune. If I command 1300rpm I get 600 from the stock file.

I also have no tach no speed-o no water temp fuel gauge no dash lights. SES light stil functions.

i can read tach through the data link with scanner.

    Any Ideas??

Disconnect the battery and let it sit for a few hours.

Read your pcm. If the file you read out has the changes applied it means its writing just fine.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
