Me and my family have been going trough some rough times battling a deadly disease that has really taken over our lives.
my wife is a 34 year old that was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago. since then she has had a total of 8 surgeries and various rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. As of now, we were just told a week ago that the cancer has spread to her brain. We have scheduled brain surgery for next week since its in an area that the surgeon says is fairly accessible.
I am trying to reach as many people as possible, a friend of us has helped us set up a blog with the journey we have traveled and in this blog there is an area where people can donate if they wish.
I never thought about posting something like this in a forum like this, I have been a member since I can remember and have seen other fellow members go through hard times. I am using this as a venting mechanism and as a way to entertain myself when I want to stop thinking about this.
a little background on myself. I have been going to school to finish my masters in Physician assistant and am due to graduate in exactly 1 month and 9 days.... I considered quitting and getting a job in order to help my family out but my wife refuses to let me go in that direction. She has been the sole bread winner of the family while I finish my studies and will not be able to work for 6-8 weeks post surgery.
below is a way to buy bracelets "fight like a girl" to help support the cause, also a link to the paypal for those who wish to donate that way.
