I have a allison 5 speed trans that is behinde a gas engine. The trans is controlled by a standalone trans controller.
the original tune for the TCM was for a 2002 duramax. I have modified the tune a little on the upshifts to help but still having problems with the downshifts.
im new to this so i might be missing something.

when on the freeway trying to pass someone or starting to pull a grade it will not down shift out of 5th gear no matter what throttle. As i start to move the downshifts up it starts to affect the upshifts. the only table i have modifyed is the shift speed normal.
