I have a buddy with a shop that is just learning HP Tuners. I have been helping him via telephone. He was tuning an older BMW race car with a built LS3 running a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V VCM, Corvette TAC module, and painless harness.

He did something with the Electronic Throttle settings and nuked the VCM and TAC modlule. He replaced them with a VCM and TAC from a 99 Corvette. To get rid of the secondary VE he added the 1 bar enhanced OS. At some point he wrote the Cadillac OS to the Corvette VCM because he was more familiar with that OS. At some other point he went back to the Corvette OS (I know, I know, but he's just learning). When he re-wrote the Corvette OS back to the VCM the custom OS was not on it. Now, I'd say he didn't do a Write Entire after adding the custom OS, so my question is, since he has already licensed the custom OS to this VCM, can he simply click on OS again and then re-write it without having to re-license it?
