hey guys,
wondering if anyone has this information on hand. Im being told that GM trucks do NOT have an oil temperature sensor. On the other hand you could read oil temperature using HPT but not using the dash. I heard that oil temp displayed in HPT is an formula output calculated from ambient temps, engine run time and a few other parameters.
how true is this?
