PE makes a big difference, I really wanna know why GM set it in so late? If they're talking about mileage and keeping it all fuel efficient, if someone wants a fuel efficient vehicle, I don't think they'd be bashing it up around town.

Nice gain! Excited to see the results... as soon as I get a new computer... Unlike the body, computers and gatorade don't mix well...

    Thanks for posting it up!

The ign tables are more aggressive than I thought they would be. Your not kidding this is a 93 octane only tune.

It looks like you zero'd out the VVT spark table and just used the Main HO table to command final spark

I actually didn't touch those tables. That's what I mean though when I said the factory was conservative. The low octane table was originally negative for over half of the table.

Interesting, after looking at the graph some more:

HP and TQ are significantly down under the curve compared to the baseline run, despite the larger final output numbers.... is this because the exhaust cut out was closed in the initial run and open in the final run?

Or am I reading this thing backwards and the run appearing to make more overall power made less up top?

I think you may be mixing up the runs.
The new tune gained across the board.

Red is the original... blue is the new tune. Note the HP/TQ cross point.

No, the blue is the final pull. The red was some random pull I did earlier that day. I asked him to send me the first pull vs the final, still waiting, but considering the owner rented me the Dyno and left the shop I doubt he saved it . When I get it I'll pm you.

Gotcha! The blue lines are the HP and TQ of the final pull.

I erased it, I messed with idle airflow, and I later noticed my idle would bounce. I forgot to put it back. I'll upload it when i get home from work

Put some bigger (42lb) injectors in it and do it again. Those little 30lb'ers are limiting you to ~385 hp at the crank....

I was wondering, what is going on in the Idle>Airflow>Throttle follower>Torque table? I have not seen a table that looked like yours. How did you get those values?

so, in your head. a 3/4 ton truck only loses 28hp in the driveline?

...So you are saying a 30lb injector can supply enough fuel to make more than 385 hp?

look at the dyno chart. granted there are exceptions to every rule. however, saying there is only a 28hp loss in the drivetrain is a bit out there.

which leads me to believe someone found a really happy dyno. not saying you're wrong, not saying you're right. im just going off the info in front of me.
