Not the way I would do it. Spark, VE and other tables are rougher than I would like. There are difference of opinion on the IAT table, but I like them close to stock.

There is a huge spike in you Main VE table, Your spark tables need work, Your adaptive idle spark under speed has been zeroed out, and t is commanding 12.3 in PE mode.

It is things like this that made me go out and buy HP Tuners and learn to do this my self.

    Here's a good one.

    Attachment 32366

    07 CTS-V OE.hpt

    Attachment 32368

    Attachment 32369

The OE tune is an original file to use as comparison. There's 2 logs, one before, one after, of one specific change.

I'll post the file later, but last night I looked at a friend's truck that had a Bullydog on it. 2003 Sierra Crew Cab 4.8l, he'd complained about it not being real quick. Basically there were minimal changes, the timing table is horrendous. The best of all was the PE EQ was 35.28, I did a double take. Whenever it finally went into PE this piece was commanding a 0.41 literally. It's close to the one from a "speed shop" in California who helps with magazine writeups for Truckin that was a 0.62 EQ ratio. Awesome stuff...

Here is one from a shop in Dallas.

I like the PE enable and EQ ratios.

Got another jewel. This is from a popular tuner.

I want sooooo bad to say who this is from. I've tuned several cars that this guy has tuned. They all look the same. Not only does he do what he does in the PCM, but all the CTS-Vs I'm tuning that he's tuned, he takes the SC bypass solenoid off and plugs the line!!

I'm not here to throw names around. Just showing some of the crap that gets passed off as "professional" tuning.

For a site full of people doing their own tuning, knowing who did it won't change anything. I just happen to have gotten into it repeatedly with the individual that Ed posted about.
