    Question Turning off DTC'S

    I recently bought my HP Tuner Pro. So far i love it. I made a few small changes including turning off the egr as well as all of the codes associated with the egr. But i keep getting a P0405 (egr sensor A circuit low). Did i miss something or can you not turn off certain DTC's.

    Some models didn't use an EGR from the OEM ... calibration can usually be configured for engines that do or don't use an EGR.

    I turned off all the codes for the emissions and trans (engine in a 70 Chevelle) and yet they ALL still apear and the MIL light comes on. What am I doing wrong? It's really stating to irritate me.
