I am working on a 06 Trailblazer SS and when it is cold everything shifts fine but after it gets to normal operating temp., it automatically downshifts to second and all I have is 2nd and reverse. I can stop and take back off and it pulls out in second unless I command 1st with the scanner. I can command second and it will change to second but when I command 3rd or 4th, it still remains in second and will not change. If I let off the throttle the vehicle will fall to an idle. I am getting no codes and I can let the vehicle sit overnight and it seems to work fine until it gets to operating temp. Is this an internal trans problem or do I have a tcm problem?
