recently installed a cam in my ls7 zo6 along with ARH long tubes with cats, and the car always smells real rich even more in the mornings where it's so bad it will choke you if you are not far away from the car. any ideas?

Overlap from the cam results in excessive hydrocarbons. That's what you're smelling. You can increase idle timing and delay the end of injection to help.

I just watched the Calibrated Success 2 dvd and it goes over delaying the end of injection for large overlap cams. Something I'm going to play with my 255/263 110lsa cam. Anybody have a good starting point for me?

Sending email now. I think I also saw the injector data doesn't match what the Greg Banish data disk provides for the long Siemens 60's.

Theres a lot in this forum on this topic. Search "EOIT" or "injector timing" I did some trial-and-error on my LS3 with a 235/239 cam (114 LSA / 9deg overalp @ 0.05") and delaying injector timing certainly helped. However, youre never going to get rid of the smell without OEM cats or a really fresh/low mileage pair of hi-fows.
