    Lots of issues

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with an SS M90 kit, VS cam, CAI and headers.

    1. When accelerating on cold starts, my car often falls on it's face. The timing will drop to around 10, and I get no throttle response. The RPM will drop to like 500, and nearly stall. This problem will last for about 30-45 seconds. After 45 seconds or so, the car never does it again. I also noticed I was hitting high airmass cells ( up to 0.56) at low RPM (as low as 600 on the table). The commanded AFR is reading 17's and 18. I don't know what's going on.

    2. The car runs an AFR of mid 17's in open loop, sometimes goes above 18. It runs high 15's to mid 16's in closed loop. Why is it so lean?

You couldn't have picked a better title for your post if you tried. Haven't looked at scan yet but...Torque Management is only allowing 208 HP vs. RPM. Also, I would NOT allow Accel. Enrich to occour while in PE/(WOT) You have this set to: Disable. I think I see where you're going with zeroing out the OL AFR Adder table, but you still might not be able to command an exact AFR anyway. I would also raise your Differential Abuse Speed Min as to help disable that. Your TCS Method is set for near 16-1 AFR, and to only allow 240 HP! Your Max Torque Timing vs. RPM vs. Cyl Air tables look a bit off. Did you change them? Did you use a different method than shown below?

Might need more info than displayed in the table at the time of that scan too. I couldn't see commanded AFR, and some other stuff that might help as well.

I made all the changes you suggested. My Max Torque Timing vs. RPM vs. Cyl Air table is a stock GTP table. I haven't changed it.

Another note on this issue... I started it up yesterday (cold start) and jut let it idle and warm up. After about 45 seconds of running fine, the car started surging and almost stalling. 45 seconds later, it was fine. I don't even think I have to put it into gear to get this reaction. Maybe it's something based off a certain coolant temperature? I'm not sure.

Here is my newest HPT file.
