I have had my car previously tuned by a tuner that uses hpt. If I buy the tuning software will I be able to pull his tune off and save it or am I going to have to start from scratch?

Yes you will be able to read it and License it and make any changes you need to.
EDIT:Assuming the tuner hasnt locked to PCM

Does license mean I can save it as is then create a new file or only make changes
Once you've licensed it you can save the file and make changes to it or save additional files and make changes to them or both

Sweet thanks. Ive been reading some stuff and to do this you just go to flash read entire and just save what it reads correct?
