heads and cam where to start on the tune

    Hi everybody
Really new at this, wanted help on getting started on my tune . I just installed a slp cam 224/228.592/.600 113 cam with T.E.A stage one 241 cnc ported heads and ls6 intake . I didn't drill the throttle plate hole bigger just raised the idle n got the car too stay on . But it idles really rough , surges when in gear and shuts off . I looked through the forum for similar cams but I think i got more confused . Just looking for some help on basics I
need to know for this car . Thanks in advance

download the RUSSK idle config and run it from cold both in P and in gear. add those numbers to the RAF.

You don't add them - the numbers logged in Table 1 become the new RAF. I add .3 g/sec on top of what Table 1 suggests because I like the engine to slightly settle vs. undershoot and create an idle surge.

I think what was meant was to Replace those numbers logged into the RAF table. 'add them to the RAF table'... but I see the slight confusion of wording.
