Removed ABS Relay - How To Turn Light Off?

Is there anyway to disable ABS without removing the relay? If so can someone explain, and if not can someone explain how to disable idiot lights like the ABS light?

My brother in law doesn't like ABS and has pulled the relay to disable it. There is obviously a light on in the the dash now, would be cool to disable it.

    The truck is a 2000 K3500 with a 454.

There is no way to disable the ABS indicator lamp in the IPC (gage cluster). The IPC activates the ABS lamp for about 3 seconds at each key on cycle (test). The EBCM will activate the ABS lamp (via serial data) if a fault is detected in the ABS system. If serial data communication with the EBCM is lost (like removing the relay) the IPC will activate the ABS lamp.

Unless this is a dedicated off road vehicle, disabling the ABS is a foolish endeavour. ABS is a proven technology (been with us for well over 20 years now). Stopping distances on low friction surfaces (ice, wet pavement, etc) are greatly reduced with the assistance of ABS systems.

Should this vehicle be involved in a crash, especially with a pedestrian, and the insurance company became aware that the ABS system had been purposefully disabled - they may choose to dishonor the insurance policy.
