2011 6.2L Sierra-want to disable tq mgmt only after in gear

Hi, I have searched and am not finding a clear solution...

I want to have full power going to the wheels when the gear is fully engaged, but am ok with TQ mgmt limiting it on the actual shift. I just don't want it limiting me when I floor it from a stop. I would like to also make full power come on ASAP after the shift is complete. Can anyone please help me?

I think I have the engine tq mgmt diabled, but am not sure. I still need to data log and get my shift mph to match the shift rpm.

    thank you

What you're feeling, the typical "GM Lag" is not transmission or torque management related, it's simply engine tuning. Use the HPT search bar and look for threads I've posted in on truck tuning and what to do to make them run better. You will find that the truck will pick up 0-60 and 1/4 mile times by eliminating trans torque management though (at least for WOT)

One other thing, you don't want shift mph and rpm to match, or else the transmission will shift roughly 200 rpm higher than commanded. Rather, in WOT set your shift mph relatively low, and set RPM where you want it to shift. Both values have to be met before the computer makes the trans shift, and it takes the computer longer to recognize both values are met at the same time rather than one value and then another.
