90mm off idle bog 01 tahoe

i'm still trying to search for an answer.

i did a full cam/heads/tbss intake/edelbrock 90mm/long tube header swap on an 01 tahoe. everything seems to just about lined out but when you initially crack open the tb there is a bog. right after the bog it jumps and takes off. this is all at very light throttle. what do i need to do to scale for the tb? this is a non drive by wire setup.

i've also been getting a p0543 and p0542 code. and today i got a p0121 code. with that code it wouldn't down shift at all and going wot from a stop it shifted really fast through all gears. logging the tps goes from 0 to 100% no problem so i'm not sur why i got that code.

in this http://www.ls2.com/boggs/dtcs/DTC%20P0121.htm link it says something about the fuel tank pressure sensor. is there something to this?

I would definitely take care of the DTCs first. Where in the log is your issue?

Basically any time it goes from 0mph-0throttle then I try to go again. That was my drive to work. I have noticed at times if you open the throttle too fast it will ping or pop real bad. Like extream low end knock. I adjusted the idle air screw on the edelbrock about as far as it will go and that seems to have fixed quite a bit.

Now I have another issue. It keeps asking for more fuel on the ve in the logs but the damn thing smells of fuel so bad it lingers in the air ten minutes after the guy leaves. And he is getting horrible mileage.

I just checked the gps voltage at 0% throttle and it's .65. Is this ok? I did the reset thing. Not sure if I did it right. I unplugged it then turned the key to run for 30sec or so then turned it off and pluged it back in and started it. Is this the correct way to do it? But the throttle blade is closed all the way so I'm not sure how to get the gps to .55 if it's needed.

Go to "Engine Diagnostics"-"General" and put your cursor on the P0121 items and read the bottom description and do what it says, see if that works for you.
Also, the bog is probably because you are flowing a bunch more air now and the fueling is off on the VE table, you're getting a lean spot which is usually the cause of a bog. Use a wideband sensor to know for sure, also you can watch the factory O2's and see if they drop below 900mV or so when you get on it. Above that then you should be close on the fueling to rule that out.

i did the p0121 code the first day i got the code. it hasn't came back since then. also the ve table is not lean there. in fact the fatter i made it the worse it got. i'm still logging and tuning the ve table right now. the maf was messing alot of things up causing me to keep adding fuel when it wasn't needed. now that its off the tune is coming in alittle better. tonight the bog wasn't there near as much. but i have noticed that if you just stuff it from a dead idle it bogs and pings real bad. maybe i have too much timing in this spot? the knock would go as high as it could.

I think I may have screwed the timing up a bit down low. I made it the same as my tahoe from 400-1400rpm all the way down the chart and it was much much better thus morning. Not to mention it had way too much fuel. One thing I don't get is in the idle cells 400,800 60kpa it keeps wanting me to take fuel out. That part of the table is WAY lower than the rest in those ranges. Is this due tithe came? I'll post the tune and log tonight when I wake up.
