    Lightbulb LS7 into 2011 Denali

is this possible with minimal changes. i hate the DOD but love eveything else so i figure i will just put an LS7 in it and be happy. with the ECM work with doing a segment swap or is there a way to shut DOD off and use the same ECM with the different parameters. or is this just a dumb idea i really want to do this and really am not concerned about cost, well with in reason anyways any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated
    thanks
    mike

You can disable the DOD if that's what you want to do.

There's so much more potential with that 6.2. Go wild. Huge Cam, DoD delete which is easy doing a cam swap, and put some boost to it!
Gray Ghost- The abomination. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB. 98mm turbo, nitrous, 428LSX, Rossler 80E with a brake. Finally finished. 23 psi, no numbers, Slow as hell.

PBM G8- Aluminum 364, twin Precision 67/66 turbos, 6L90 trans swap, CTS-V/Vaporworx fuel system, slowly making progress.

Dads 2011 CTS-V- Stock bottom end, stock heads, LS9 cam, pullies, ported blower, ported TB, D3 goodies, and lots of nitrous.

I personally would put a healthy cam in it along with some good heads maybe. Might as well if you pull the heads for the DOD delete. A Yank PT3400 6L80E converter will do wonders for your truck. I've tuned several AWD/RWD Denali's/Escalades but the most fun I've ever had was with one that had cam/headers/intake and that yank converter. Runs like a raped ape from a dig, and a mid 13 for almost 6k+ lb truck isn't too shabby.

Has anyone done any tuning on the 2011 Denalli?? it has an E78 ecm
I think that would be something to consider with the swap.

Agree with Jake. You can put some massive poop to one of those 6.2's instead of the LS7. Besides I'm a stickler about having matching numbers blocks in vehicles.
