    Saying that sounds like fouled plugs cause things to happen (like alter the tune?lol) but fouled plugs are always a symptom, not a cause.

    If you pull a plug and it's fouled you don't just replace it. you find out why. in your case, your tune is wrong, your tuning method is wrong (whether your book is wrong or you are interpreting it wrong, I am not in a position to say from here).

    I suggest you replace your plugs, forget what you think you know about tuning, follow all the advice in this thread, and start over completely.

    Tune part throttle and idle to stoich. Then you can learn about new methods for tuning idle, then tune WOT.
