You can't read entire the ECU?

Edit: N/M, you mean the combo tune, not E85 blend.

Correct... I just dont have time to get to him but his tuning ROCKS without a doubt. I need to order new plugs because the 3786(iirc) are already misfring on me after like 10k so I'm going back to stockers. They were gapped at .030" so idk

My stock plugs lasted over 40k, 35k of which was tuned at the most I could get out of hpt, including 1:1 e85 for a few thousand, they were in better conditon when I pulled them than my 3787s are now with 10k or less. Not arguing with you but I just think I'm sticking to ac delco 41-108s at half the price than the 3787s I bought.

Every engine is different. No worries. I cooked a set of stockers last winter in less than 5k miles, my own tunes fault I'm sure. Blew up #2 plug.

Successfully running full E85 on a bolted car with HPT only Got it figured out pretty quickly tonight!

The car makes and holds over 300 load until over 5k lol. Pulls really nuts now, tomorrow's dyno will see if its real..

sweeeeeeeeeeeeet nick, damnit i want my tuner back lol...... i will be making me a tune for 30lbs at .85 lambda so i wonder lol. Nick how do you have your wot fueling ? Did you use the desired fuel pressure cells all at 2200 or just at wot like say from 4k to 7k..... Im just figuring it out to see whats best i know you prob left early tables in the early rpms a tad bit higher for the E85 im just curious for the later cells . like if you ramped em or just did this 1400,1400,1400, 2000,2200, ect, Ill test, im just the curious little mouse i guess.

You will need to play with adjusting the injection timing and boost. You need to start low with the boost below 4k, watch the fueling. Keep adjusting the boost until the IDC starts to get a lil jumpy then back off slightly. If you ramp up the boost real hard, you will run out of fuel there. Use the WG Correction table to limit the WG% to keep the spiking under control, that will help greatly

Wow! Played around with boost control for a couple minutes, put a tune in it and went for a drive. My best 60-100 before was 4.7 something, just ripped off a 4.48!!! That's in a Kappa too with a stock turbo even (soon to be bigger).

Chris and Bill, these tables will absolutely be huge for us, boost control alone will be awesome! I can't thank you guys enough, you've really earned some points with your customers, and future customers.

I haven't even looked at the other stuff very much yet. I did compare injector timing to a 2011 Buick 2.0 turbo and it's "normal" table looked very close to our "hom single low" values. Max values were 354* to our 360* but low numbers were 280* to our 240*. Nick is that the table you're working for advancing the injector timing? What's the difference between the high and low tables? The Buick doesn't seem to have a high and low table, it has "normal" "double pulse" and "cat lightoff". Cat lightoff and double pulse numbers don't look like any tables we have.

Which table did you play with to get that run? Did you do a 3-4 shift?

Mostly just gaining a full 95% boost DC, which I know the Trifecta guys have had for quite awhile, but I never went that route. Also the 4.7 run was a few months ago so I have to admit it wasn't all from the new tables. Since then I've gotten the tune smoother and extremely close on the cam and ign timing, fueling and a few other tables we've already had.

The other advantage I have on the most of the Kappa's is I don't have to shift (head work), and I'm running 275/45/18's on back. This run was done in 3rd gear, started at 4300 and ended at 7000. Actually I ended the run at 107mph 7533rpm. Amazingly enough, I've done 60-100 runs in 4th also, and came up with almost identical times! To me that is a true testament of how amazing these little motors are, to pull just as good from 2800 or so in 4th as from 4300 in 3rd! One of these days I want to (go back down to Mexico) and do a 4th gear run from 60 to ???, taking it all the way to 7500rpm. I've gone from 60 to 130something in 4th, but still wasn't at 7500. Amazing for a four banger to have that kind of speed range in one gear.

Makes sense that you have head work :P
