tried reading a 2004 pontiac grand prix gtp comp g... went to requesting access and started downloading bootloader and it failed... now i'm unable to read the pcm and the car won't start... any tips/suggestions on how to try and read it again or be able to start it would be awesome... thanks in advance

No, you likely have some sort of software conflict, maybe antivirus software or something is screwing with the software or something.

yup we did... had a random error dealing in the end with microsoft office which it seems i'll probably have to end up re-installing.... thanks again!
ok got the file working and have a new issue... 2nd gear is acting really weird and unable to use tapshift
