    EGR on L59 engine

I did an engine swap with an L59 FlexFuel Gen III engine. I transferred all of the EGR valves and emissions stuff from the donor vehicle to my new vehicle. Does this mean that I have to set the EGR Enabled field to ENABLED?

I thought that the new gen III engine PCMs don't use the EGR field (i.e. set to DISABLED), but I could be wrong.

Does anyone know what happens when EGR Enabled is set to enabled? (I mean what happens inside the PCM. What does it look for and what does it see! What tables are getting used, etc.)

    Thanks!

    (Birds chirping.)

Does anyone have a stock PCM file that I can compare mine to, so that I may add these features back?

I mean a completely stock file for a 2006 Flex Fuel 5.3L L59 engine. Most of the ones I see on the HPTuners repository have the EGR ENABLED/DISABLED Field set to DISABLE and they still say it is a stock configuration. Is that right?

    Thanks in advance!

As far as I have seen 2001 was the last year for EGR on the 5.3. May have been different in California.
What did you install the engine in?
