    miles per gallon

couple of questions bout better fuel economy, is it true if you increase spark and get a leaner afr that will better your mpg? or simply just make it leaner? and cant find a tune for a 2000 silverado 5.7, any help is appreciated

increasing spark when you haven't reach mbt (maximum brake torque) to mbt can increase torque which can make it easier for the engine to move the car down the road which can mean better mileage. running lean obviously uses less fuel but i think most have found that running lean to save fuel means you have to run too lean and don't save all that much fuel.

that doesn't change your spark timing. it prevents you from power braking.

look under the Spark tab for your spark timing tables.

that's all torque management or in other words, power reduction tables to control wheelspin, handling, and parts breakage.

It's not easy to make gains in mileage more than easy driving, steady foot can do. especially at putting speeds.....search the forum for fuel mileage threads.
