pe before be quick question

ok guys you can light me up if you must. but i have noticed that if my car goes into boost at light throttle i.e. <40% my be will command the requisite fueling without going into pe, but my stfts will pull fuel like crazy. so my question is. is this common and should i just lower my pe requirements?

thanks so much steve. i know you have been ringing this bell for a while. and on a side note , thanks to all of you guys for helping me get my turbo regal dialed in, it is an absolute animal. i can induce tire smoke at any speed up to 60 and idles like a stocker.
