LS1 into 89-95 GM with DRAC, can it be bypassed?

Anyone swapped an ls into 89-95 gm that used a drac? From what I have read it sounds like the speed output of the ls1 computer could be hooked directly to the speedo to work and eliminate the drac all together. Just wondering if anyone has tried it.........

yes, then just adjust the pulse per mile output to match what you need it to be..

Thanks! thats what I thought from reading, but just wanted to hear from someone who had done it.

i did it. Blue wire with black stripe, put your output signal from the PCM to it.
