HPT Windows 7 64 bit issues

so having major issues with this on windows 7 and wasn't sure where to post since i just got this today and can't even read my own car... followed all of the install walkthroughs on here and had .net framwork 2.0 installed previously since i used a DHP tuner previously that needed 2.0... tuner is trying to read a 2001 Impala LS with a 3.8 L and it's not seeing the VCM at all. Tried reading my buddies 2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G 3.8 S/C and it couldn't read the VCM either... not sure what to diagnose since i've got the 64 bit drivers for the MVPI, made sure .net 2.0 was installed about 4 times now and restarted after every uninstall and reinstall, along with making sure that every cable was connected properly and securely... i have a log file that i uploaded from vcm suite if it helps... thanks in advance

Need a screenshot of the error you are seeing.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Looks to me like you don't have power at the obd2 port, when you connect your interface to the vehicles obd port but NOT your laptop does the green power light illuminate?

    W7 64bit

When opening a file, I get "Unable to open file. Index was outside the bounds of the array".

I was able to install 2.22, but can't get my copy of 2.23 to install. All the *.htp files were read/edited on an XP machine using 2.23.

    Thanks, Mark

It would be helpful if you explained WHY you are unable to get your copy of 2.23 to install so that we can help.

2.23 is looking for .net 2, and even though it is native to W7, it won't load. Is my file problem due to ver. issues? (2.22/2.23)

No idea, the newest beta software installs just fine for us on all of our windows 7 test computers, maybe you have a pc issue or are trying to run a beta thats a year+ old or something.

Even 2.22 that we posted in the help section with the net framework checks removed works just fine on win 7 for us.

So I should have Beta 2.23.1? My copy is a year+ old. Was thinking as versions change, so does it's Ver #.

Your 2.22 does work on my PC. How can I get my hands on the other 2.23?
