It should automatically trim them to about 1 data point every 100 rpm (if I remember correctly off the top of my head)

Well it's off now. Maybe the wind resistance calcs are screwing it up.

The only log that actually works for me is one from a dyno pull. And it's within a few HP.

    Street pulls aren't even close.

Ok Im confused between people that actually know what their car dynos and them comparing it to VD and people that have an IDEA of what their car should make.

Sarge: can you send me one of your road logs? bradbarnhill at hotmail com
send me a dyno graph as well if you dont mind.

BTW ... this software has been out about a year in the other car forums and its been proven time and time again to be accurate against some of the reputable dynos. There are some VERY dishonest dynos out there that make people feel really good for no real reason other than the shops want to give you numbers using a correction factor of 1.3 (30% increase in numbers).

    Thanks,
    Brad Barnhill

Do you want the HPTuners log or the CSV from the runs?

You want the actual graph from the dynor or the log from the dyno?

I dnyo'd the car in Tampa FL and 2 weeks later in Louisville KY and they were within 2 whp of each other. So I know my dyno log is right.

    442rwhp is the dyno run

NOSpull6 is a street pull with 150 shot of nitrous. No wheel spin, 3rd gear pull from a roll.

Just rename files from .xls to .csv

Except for the weight. It will vary. 3110 is the curbweight with stock wheels and tires.

Mine is an 02 but should be close for 2001-2004.

Does this apply to more than just the 09 year? In the next version of the software there is a year range in the XML, for this very reason.

That G8 data should be good for the 08-09 model years. Here is some 08-09 G8 GXP M6 data:

    <CarMake>Pontiac</CarMake>
    <CarModel>G8 GXP M6</CarModel>
    <Weight>4050</Weight>
    <TransGear3>1.43</TransGear3>

is the GT data above is that a manual transmission gear ratio? I need to know the new XML files will need to specify auto or manual. Other than that I have the XML for the G8 GT and GXP for 08-09 in the next versions build so far. Any more cars you need added just send me the data

im getting error E101. my log isnt the greatest it has a 3rg gear pull and then coastdown included in the log. is it graphing the coastdown as well? Also it seems to graph about 4 or 5 lines. If i try to delete some unneeded paramaters in the csv file i get the 101 error

All GTs are auto. GXP could be either. So, if the the GT and GXP trans ratios are the same, they're both autos.
