yea that was 2 pulls. Is that what made it slew all over the place or just what gave the high number?

You need to apply the third gear for the log you have uploaded in the Virtual Dyno if you want to obtain a realistic result...it might be closer to your real power numbers then!

    Hi TXZ0603,

The only WOT data I found in your CSV spreadsheet starting 1848 rpm ending 5983 rpm is from:

    Line # 4778...rpm 1849...speed 29mph
    Line # 4869...rpm 5982...speed 91mph

This is obviously a 3rd gear WOT session...

You will certainly be very pleased to note how accurate Brad software is when you will adjust your graph to 3rd gear and correct it with the SAE information...

Is your last Dynojet record in the low 600rwhp?

Is that vehicle weight you are using include your weight? Also why are you using SAE correction?

Ha! Hadnt noticed that. It was a long drive and I really didnt even think about it. My last DJ was 784 at 16 psi on meth with smaller turbos.

Yes I added my weight. I figured the SAE would be closer considering it is 100deg here and the function shows 77 deg without. Still a nice program.

How can I get the AFR and Boost gauge to work? Do I just need to rename my PID's to AFR and boost?

You should be able to tell the dyno program what you have them labeled. I would open the .csv file and look up the actual column headings just in case they are for some reason different than what they say in hpt.

If there are logs that have AFR and boost in them and they arent showing up ... could I get someone to send me their email address via PM and Ill send them my email address so they can send me the uneditted logs so I can add the extra columns to the database and others can benefit?

Whew that was a long sentence but it is 520am ...

played with it, not satisfied with my numbers lol...then again, i had to fudge a lit of them to get the HP even close to right but then the TQ was low.

my fault though, was using the Ion RL(no cobalt lsj) and i had only 2nd gear pulls recorded so i set my final drive to 6:1 and told told it it was a 3rd gear pull.

nice software though! tempted to get some real pulls and play with it see if i can smooth out/raise the curves a bit

if you want to get me the info on the Cobalt LSJ Ill be glad to add it. PM me for the required info.

Fudging just a little can have detrimental effects on your numbers. Then again some people when it shows them their real power they arent "happy" with it either. Its not VDs fault though ... just their own for believing that air intake gives them +25hp cause it says it does on the box. You wouldnt believe how many times people tell me Virtual Dyno is wrong in a day. Then they go test it themselves against a dyno (as if a hundred people havent done that already) and then they come back and tell me its accurate. It gives me a laugh everytime someone is going to "test it" because Ive been down that road a hundred times with a hundred other people.
