I don't know. I've only seen Chris, Bill and Keith post here. I don't understand the reason for breaking the csv standard. It makes the export feature useless. All of the columns over 1000 RPM shift to the right so none of the data is usable.

I agree that its a HUGE detriment to people that rely on that functionality. I would think they would release a patch for something that major but it looks as if they only do major releases every couple of years.

it works in comparison between runs/changes just like a real dyno

as far as comparing VD numbers to roller dyno numbers i've heard that they are practically the same, but have not tried myself

@V-Whipped : It is pretty darn close if you use your logger correctly and set the values in VD correctly. It has been proven to be very close by numerous people. Even my critics have come back and agreed that its pretty darn close once they gave it a try.

BUT keep in mind its only as smart as the user ... same goes for roller dynos though. Some people believe anything they see from a dyno ... but the dyno operator may be a high school kid there working a summer job.

Export feature is fixed in the newest beta 2.23.559 from what I can tell upon initial testing.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Brad what did you say were the minimum items needed to log a run for the most accurate run?

Vehicle Speed, Throttle Position, and Engine Speed?

What's the best way to log a run? From a dig, a roll, certain speed?

depending on the car 1500-3000 RPM, a flat smooth road(up/down hill will throw the numbers off), 3 and or 4 gear as long as you have traction the whole time and dont run out of road.

There is no way I should be at over 500ftlb of tq by 2700RPM. This was on a Dyno too.
