Like I just figured out how to do it. With a warm, running (idling) engine. Plug in your laptop and open the scanner. Connect it, but don't start scanning. open VCM Controls and go to the "Special" tab. It'll say "Cylinder" and then a button below it saying "Begin" hit begin and let it do it's test. Now.... After it gets done, I don't understand what it tells you.... That's where I'm at because my G8 is missing on 1 or more cylinders.

Ahhhhh, I see those instructions now...LOL

I had taken an infrared heat temp gun and shot the primaries to see if I could find anything out that way. I found the #1 cyl about 100* lower than all the others so I ran a histo ... or tried to on that cylinder and this is what I got. WTF is that?

Nvm. I found part of the problem in my G8. Cylinder 4 and 6 has compression of 85 PSI.... Must have a cracked head.... Sorry for thread jacking.

You should make a pit stop here in Roswell and see if you can help me figure out what the hell is wrong with my 8. And yeah I know. People around here drive their junkers like they're on the freakin Autobahn.
