    Max RPM question

Here's a question.....I'm tuning a 98 vortec and the tables end at 5200 rpm. What will happen if you rev past the spark and fuel table limits. I have to upgrade to a 0411 gen III PCM but with stock how how does it know what to do if you go past the tables? Already did it once and it lived

think they are all 8,000 rpm limit.. guessing over that it would go rich or shut down as it is the hard limit of the pcm.. not sure as mine won't spin over 7100.

In most cases it uses the last line
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I asked this question a month or so ago and it seems that once you go past 8,000rpm it'll just read off the last column until the limiter. I don't think the LS1 PCM is hardcode limited like the older 94-95 LT1's are. (can't comment on 96-97 as I've never fooled with them)

I ran my 7.4 vortec to 5800 while logging and it didn't shut off if anything it was on the rich side. BTW, there's no point in reving that thing past 5K until I rebuild it this winter. It intstantly stopped breathing @5k, almost like you plugged the exhaust up
