Tune Tips for Headers & CAI on a C6Z06 (almost in the 10's)

Just put Doug Thorley headers (no cats) & a Lingenfelter cold air intake w/100mm throttle body on my '06 C6 Z06. Car picked up 3 tenths & 3 mph in the 1/4 with the mods on the stock tune + the Lingenfelter high & low MAF tables. I have a Ragin Racin Punisher cam to put in over the winter at which time I'll have Bluecat here in KY do a professional tune, but in the short term with bolt ons I'm very close to running tens (11.13 @ 128). I have HP tuners & have already turned off rear O2's, COT & changed fan % temps. Anyone want to give me a few tips on adjusting timing & commanded AFR to try to pick up that extra tenth & get me in the 10's? Normally I would try to comb though the forum & research it myself, but I only have a few days here before my last track outing on Nov 7th.

    Thanks,

    Header

Heck yeah I can help with timing! Throw up your Tune and I'll adjust it, and post up a Screen shot.

OK here's what I've done so far:

Lingenfelter High & Low MAF tables
Adjusted Fan temps for 160 deg stat
COT - Disabled (no cats on car)
Low Octane Timing Table - copied stock High Octane table
    IAT Spark Advance - zero'd from 104 deg & lower, lowered 113 deg to -2 & 122 deg to -4
Knock Spark Retard - reduced Max Valid from 12 to 1.3 (GM factory value for '09 & up Z06's)

Decided to try the following for PE multiplier:

    0-5200 RPM = 1.176 (12.5 AFR)
    5500-8000 RPM = 1.157 (12.7 AFR)

Whats your timing like? On a intake/header tune most I've seen run about 24 degrees up top, with ~22 in 4800-5200.

That (timing) and you need to be able to see what your actual AFR is. Set the PE table to your desired WOT AFR (12.5ish), strap it to the dyno and dial the MAF tables in with a wide band so you're AFR error is small. C6 Z's run very rich from the factory.

Yeah thankfully no one was hurt. Vette needs a new upper A arm, front bumper cover & drivers front fender.
