Startup is fine, pull away and car goes lean and misfires

I've been battling some tuning issues recently. I have been having a situation that I will start the car and back out of the driveway in 20-30 seconds. My driveway is small and on a slight incline so backing out the car is in neutral. I go to put the car into gear and pull away and the car pegs the WB lean and misfires like crazy. It will continue to do this until, from what I assume, the car reaches a certain ECT?

What causes the car to behave like this? The fact that it is in OL at that point? Can I fix it?

I am attaching a scan to show how the car starts and idles fine. I played with the afterstart enrich to see if that helped the situation at all. All it did was fatten the car up. As soon as I put it in gear and released the clutch- it went lean still.

Basic mods are: heads/cam, ls6 intake, LT's/ORY/catback, 30# red top skinnys

    Thanks for the help!

By the looks of your tune, I think you are in closed loop. Your closed loop enable temp is 93 degrees. Have you tried working on your tune in OL?

Closed loop Enable is stock 34C.
VE is a mess i some areas. If you canĀ“t see it - READ MORE
    MAF could look smoother.
Idle sparks looks better than Main that can be smoother.

You need to get VE and MAF 99% sorted before adressing your energy in other areas. If these are wrong computer is trying to correct things where input values are wrong from the beginning.
There is no problem running in open loop if VE and MAF are correct...
Reset all parameters to stock except injector data and MAF/VE and then retune with proper method. It will work...

I will start tuning the VE and MAF then....I have your guide printed Jeff. Thanks

Is this what is causing the car to go really lean?

When I was saying OL, the car was in fact in OL because it was colder than the enable temp. I was not implying that my car was in OL all the time.

It could be. You need to tune with the PCM forced into open loop, that takes all of the fuel adder variables out of the equation and will help get the VE and MAF as accurate as possible. Just take your time and be patient. Steady throttle movements and steady speeds is critical.
