Switched to 2 bar, car won't start....

Ok, so i switched to 60 pound injectors, the car would actully idle on the 42 pound tune. not perfect but it would idle. So I finished tuning those and it idled better, I then installed the 2-bar map sensor and uploaded the 2-bar software as per the directions on this site.

now the problem, the car's fuel pump comes on for .5-1 sec then goes off. it is coming on. and obviously does not give the car enough gas to run. after a few cycles of teh switch the car will fire.

Is there a problem with the tune that's causing this, or did I manage to just have the bad luck of getting a mechanical problem at a very weird time?

    Thanks!

Look at your ve table... you need to load some thing in it after you change to a 2 bar or 3 bar os. Every Cell Is - 519% Max Value.

Put the stock file back into that table, where applicable.

still... comes on for a brief second and that's it.

Still no luck, time to put it on the lift and see if fuel pump is getting voltage of it it's the pump. it's barely moving now. i'm thinking the pump might be bad. the pulse just seems to get shorter adn shorter even recharged the battery. the car has almost 100K on it so it's entirely possible.

Fuel pump replaced with walbro 255 LPH pump.... which does the same things, comes on for half a second or so then goes off. Does not even finish the priming cycle.

Post your current tune, the one you posted is very much screwed up.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

That is the current tune.. very much screwed up how.. the boost enrich hasn't been touched yet.

    Mods
    Seimens 60 pound injectors.
    STS kit
    LS6 intake,
    port & polished throttle body.
    AIR/EGR deleted.
    Cats deleted,
Spoon sway bar, Koni Rear shocks, Pan hard bar, lower control arms, and a sub frame connector on the passenger side.

after not getting the fuel pump to work, i replaced it with a walbro 255lph., same symptoms. Checked all of the wiring to the rear and teh grounds. have not found anything there.

a word on the tune. most of it is from the STS tune. i will post that tune also.

changes i made were the injectors, ( guidance from the banish dvd) and switching to 2 bar.

the car would start and idle, before the 2 bar update afterward the fuel pump won't stay on long enough to prime.

This tune is a stock map sensor tune.

I would wonder why with a 2bar you have a secondary ve table.. I may be wrong but I would take the staock file with no changes and apply the 2bar and save it then make all my changes and see how it works..

I have not used a 2bar on an 98 os but I would not think it should have the second ve table.

This is why I run a tuning shop. I hate to say it but info isn't readily free anymore.

Not able to view your tune from this computer, but try increasing your base running airflow by 20% across the board and see if it starts. As mentioned before, make sure 101,102 and 103 are not set to "no error reported", but set to 2-"no mil light" or the car won't run.

Nothing looks horribly off in that last tune so I'm not sure.

    Any DTC's?

Your not crazy, it's in the tune some how.
I've got a '02 Vette 3 bar doing the same thing right now. It seems like it's VATS related or something. After cycling the key several times the pump will prime for 3 seconds like it's suppose to and then the car starts fine. I've finished tuning the car and everything. I'm gonna try doing the VATS relearn again.

The one thing about this car, we didn't have his stock tune file to convert to 3 bar. So I had to pull a stock '02 Z06 from the repository and convert it. That made me leary to begin with and now I'm having this issue.

Car made 840rwhp/720rwtq and now I'm chasing this goofy bug.
