    setting up command afr?

I couldnt find this topic, if i have overlooked it sry..

Im trying to setup a commanded afr in a custom PID the same way as greg banish shows on his dvd and i cannot get it to work. its a 2000 silverado with a 2001 computer after i set it up it shows unsupported parameter. I was using PID.6001 and PID.6000 either one works for me.

    What am i doing wrong.

I have my wideband (LC1) setup and the ve err pid setup but thats no good without a command.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks
    Ray.

You have to actually put that PID in your scanner if you want to use it in a calculation for another PID.

Well i have been creating a custom pid and naming it Commanded Afr and in functions i enter [PID.6001]/14.56. If i understand you right will this not work unless commanded afr hi res pid.6001 is in the primary table by itself?

Yes. If you reference a PID in a calculation, that PID has to be in the table.
