Got a customer that did a motor swap into a 85 chevy truck, its a 2006 5.3 with a 2005 4l60e tranny with a painless harness and 2000 model 4.8/4l60e computer.. My question is, when i wrote my base file and fed it in it fired right up and backed it out and drove off and it won't shift out of first gear, but it will manually shift no prob... Im thinking shift solenoid's maybe bad? Will the 2000 Computer not talk correctly with the transmission? Never had this problem before.. Thanks for any help!

you ever figure this solution out I'm having almost the same issue but mines normal 1-2 shift then 2-3 and 3-4 are super soft at times and others you cant feel but can see them shift in the scanner.. not thinking it mechanical cause I can mess with tables and it get a little better
