are you resetting trims each time? Wideband? Using afr error? post tune, log, and cfg along with mod list. No one can help you without that.

I wrote it for a wideband only. If you are in the middle of tuning, the STFT and LTFT should be off.

I don't know how to reset trims. I have a wideband (LC1) hooked up to the little grey box.

In the menu bar of the HPT Scanner. Go to Display --> VCM Controls. Tab over to Fuel & Spark. You'll find a button there that said, 'Reset Fuel Trims'... You have to be connected to the PCM else the button is grayed out.

Out of curiosity, when you don't reset them can they have an impact when your tuning the VE tables? Will the scanner see that the LTFT's are maxed at 25 and give false info?

Do I need to turn close loop and fuel trim learn off as well? I did and it seemed to help.
